Impact, a professional network for the entertainment industry founded and led by Academy Award-winning filmmakers and Imagine Entertainment Executive Chairmen Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, has raised $15 million in Series B funding.
Shasta Ventures led the round, which also included Benchmark and strategic investors such as Skydance, Riviera Partners, Michael Lynton (Chairman of Snap and former Chairman and CEO of Sony Entertainment), Eric Fellner (Producer and Co-Chairman of Working Title Films), Brian Koppelman and David Levien (Billions creators), and Anthony Wood (Roku Founder & CEO).
MBX Biosciences, Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing Precision Endocrine Peptide (PEP) therapeutics to treat a wide range of endocrine disorders, has announced the completion of a $115 million Series B financing. Wellington Management led the Series B financing, with participation from RA Capital Management and Norwest Venture Partners, as well as existing investors Frazier Life Sciences, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), and OrbiMed.
Jnana Therapeutics, a biotechnology company that uses its next-generation chemoproteomics platform to discover medicines for difficult-to-treat targets, announced the completion of its $107 million Series C financing. Bain Capital Life Sciences led the funding, with participation from existing investors such as RA Capital Management, Polaris Partners, Versant Ventures, Avalon Ventures, and Pfizer Ventures.
Contentstack, the Content Experience Platform (CXP) category leader and pioneer of composable architecture, announced a $80 million Series C funding round. The round was co-led by Georgian and Insight Partners, with participation from Illuminate Ventures. All three companies have increased their investment in Contentstack, raising the total amount to $169 million.
Pickle Robot Company, a pioneer in AI-enabled robotic automation systems that unload trucks, announced that it has live pilot implementations unloading tens of thousands of packages per month at customer sites in the greater Los Angeles area, and has raised $26 million in series A funding. Ranpak, JS Capital, Schusterman Family Investments, Catapult Ventures, and Soros Capital led the financing.
Spot AI announced the completion of a $40 million Series B financing round led by Scale Venture Partners, bringing its total funding to $62 million. Existing investors Redpoint Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners, as well as new investors StepStone Group and MVP Ventures, are also participating in the round. Spot AI has also added Hypergrowth Partners as an advisor and investor.
Astera Labs, the industry leader in connectivity solutions for intelligent systems, announced its progress and momentum in preparing for the company’s next phase of growth. Astera Labs completed its Series-D funding round, expanded its board of directors, added new product lines to its portfolio, and expanded its global presence with new locations and a larger employee base.
Other existing investors, including Atreides Management, Intel Capital, and Sutter Hill Ventures, joined Fidelity.
Daylight, a digital bank aimed at providing financial products and services to help queer people live their best lives, has announced a $15 million round of funding led by Anthemis Group, with participation from CMFG Ventures, Kapor Capital, Citi Ventures, and Gaingels, among others.
