Impel, a pioneer of digital interaction software for automakers, markets, and dealers, has received a $104 million growth investment. Silversmith Capital Partners, a Boston-based growth equity firm, led the transaction, with participation from previous investor Wavecrest Growth Partners. The sale validates the company’s vision and track record of worldwide success, as well as the huge possibility for continuing digital revolution in the automotive industry.
Authenticx, the new healthcare standard for listening to consumer voices at scale, raised $20 million in Series B fundraising today.
Blue Heron Capital led the investment, with Beringea, Indiana Next Level Fund/50 South Capital Advisors, High Alpha, Mutual Capital Partners, Signal Peak Ventures, Allos Ventures, Elevate Ventures, and M25 also participating.
Cloudian announced the closing of $60 million in new fundraising, increasing the total amount raised by the business to $233 million. Digital Alpha, Eight Roads Ventures Japan, INCJ, Intel Capital, Japan Post Investment Corporation, Silicon Valley Bank, Tinshed Asia, Wilson Sonsini Investments, and strategic investors all participated in the round.
Vannevar Labs, which develops cutting-edge technologies to address vital national security issues, announced a $75 million Series B round recently. Felicis led the investment, which included new investors DFJ Growth and Aloft VC, as well as existing General Catalyst, Point72 Ventures, Costanoa Ventures, and Shield Capital. This takes Vannevar’s total funding to more than $90 million. The company intends to use the fresh funding to fund the development of new products and to win Decrypt’s first multi-year program.
ADARx Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company creating RNA-targeting medicines, announced the completion of a $46 million Series B-1 investment to advance the Company’s drug development pipeline as its first candidate approaches the clinic. The Series B-1 was led by Ascenta Capital, with participation from the current syndicate of OrbiMed Advisors, SR One Capital Management, Lilly Asia Ventures, and Sirona Capital.
Outrider, the pioneer in autonomous yard operations for logistics hubs, announced a $73 million Series C funding round led by FM Capital. A fully owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and NVentures, NVIDIA’s venture capital arm, are among the new investors. Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT) and New Enterprise Associates are among the existing investors taking part in the round (NEA).
Endevica Bio, a business that is developing first-in-class peptide medicine candidates with improved safety and efficacy, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. Existing investors had full participation rights in the round and purchased all of the available shares.
MacroFab, a cloud manufacturing platform for developing electronics from prototype to high-volume production with over 100 facilities across North America, announced $42 million in fresh growth financing. Foundry led the round, which was joined by BMW I Ventures and previous investors Edison Partners and ATX Venture Partners. MacroFab has now raised a total of $82 million in funding.
