SPAN announced a $96 million Series B2 investment round, bringing the firm’s total funding to $231 million. Wellington Management led the round, which included Congruent Ventures, Capricorn Investment Group, Qualcomm Ventures, Fifth Wall, Munich Re Ventures, A/O PropTech, and Amazon’s Alexa Fund, among others.
Token, a pioneer in secure, wearable authentication systems, has announced a $30 million funding round to support the company’s product development and strategic expansion goals. Grand Oaks’ financing consists of a $20 million secured note and a $10 million convertible note to fund inventory and working capital to support the company’s overall expansion and future product development.
Adcentrx treatments, a biotechnology firm dedicated to transforming Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) treatments for cancer and other life-threatening diseases, has closed a $38 million Series A+ funding. Eight Roads Ventures led the round, which included F-Prime Capital, ABio-X, Delta Capital, Trinity Innovation Fund, and other strategic investors. Adcentrx’s financial advisors were Life Venture Partners and Lighthouse Capital. Adcentrx plans to use the fundraising proceeds to advance its unique ADC pharmaceutical pipeline into the clinic.
Veo Robotics, a pioneer in intelligent safeguarding for industrial robots, declared that it has received $14 million in funding from the Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund, Safar Partners, and Yamaha Motor Ventures. The overall investment round, including earlier closings, is $29 million.
Ohmium International, a leading green hydrogen firm that designs, manufactures, and deploys revolutionary proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer systems, has completed a $250 million Series C growth equity transaction. TPG Rise Climate, TPG’s dedicated climate investing strategy, led the round, which also includes participation from Hanover Technology Investment Management and current investors Energy Transition Ventures and Fenice Investment Group.
Pinecone, a vector database business that provides long-term memory for AI, announced a $100 million Series B fundraising round at a $750 million valuation.Andreessen Horowitz led the round, with participation from ICONIQ Growth and prior investors Menlo Ventures and Wing Venture Capital.
Foresight Diagnostics, Inc., a leading producer of ultrasensitive cancer detection tests, announces the completion of a $58.75 million Series B fundraising transaction. Civilization Ventures, Bluebird Ventures, Pear Ventures, Agent Capital, Stanford University, and The University of Colorado Healthcare Innovation Fund all contributed to the funding, which was led by Foresite Capital. The funds will be utilized to expedite the clinical development and commercialization of PhasED-SeqTM, Foresight Diagnostics’ cancer recurrence testing platform.
Avalanche Energy, a fusion energy business building modular fusion micro-reactors, announced a record of 200 kilovolts in its micro-fusion reactor and closed a $40M Series A financing headed by Lowercarbon Capital, with significant participation from Founders Fund and Toyota Ventures. Congruent Ventures, Grantham Foundation, and Clear Path are also following up on their Seed round investment. Autodesk, MCJ Collective, and the Climate Capital Syndicate were also new participants.
